Hi everybody, my name is Spyda! I'm a loveable and playful young goofball who is looking for my forever home.
When I first came into foster care I didn't know very many tricks or commands and even found being inside to be a new experience! My foster family say that I am a very clever boy though as I have already learnt to sit, I wait patiently for my dinner, I am happy to eat my meals and chill out in my crate and I sleep through the night on my own bed. I also walk very well on a lead in my yard. (I've have only just had my vet work completed so I am really looking forward to exploring more of the outside world really soon.) My favourite thing in the world is when I get treats! I'm sure that if whoever adopts me continues to provide training with some tasty treats I will learn new tricks super fast!
I would love it if my forever home allowed me to be an inside/outside boy and curl up at your feet while you watch TV. I love giving and receiving snuggles, they are the best! Sometimes I get a little excited around people so it might be best if any kids in my new family weren't too small. I would hate to knock them over while playing, I can be a little bit clumsy sometimes.
I have a very energetic fur sister at home who I love playing with and I'm sure that I would get along with all dogs big or small. If nobody is home during the day it would be great if you had another doggo friend who I could hang out with, and to be left with some cool toys to play with to keep me occupied. I haven’t met any cats or been too close to any birds yet.
In my current home there are 6ft fences but I have made no attempt to try and get out. But as I am a growing boy, fences like these are probably a good idea. I love going on drives in the car even though at first jumping into the car seemed really scary, I realise now that it is super fun and poke my nose out the window into the breeze. While I spend a lot of time curled up on my bed snoozing it would be great if my new family would take me for a walk or a run along the beach or park on a regular basis.
I'm sure that if you give me a chance you will see how adorable and funny I am.
