About Lulu
Dear Sir or Madam
In mid-June I was required to travel from Bajool to Rockhampton pound and subsequently all the way to Brisbane due to a lack of suitable cat work opportunities in the north of the state. While I did not want to make this journey and found it very disruptive, my employment agency, AMR, explained that the best chance of me finding a permanent position involved relocating.
Since then, I have been working in a temporary capacity with a family of four humans - two big ones and two small ones aged 6 and 8. I have very much enjoyed my term here but feel it is time to find a permanent position.
I would bring around six months of experience to my future role. This means that while I have a solid training base, I have degree of flexibility and could adapt to new work environments and practices. I am extremely friendly and enjoy the company of my humans. I love to chat and pride myself on greeting them with a friendly ‘chirrup’ whenever I see them. I speak no human and the humans speak no cat, but we persist regardless and enjoy conversations throughout the day.
To date my record includes
100% litter tray use with zero accidents
Voted best looking kitty (juvenile category) in Bajool five months running
100% kill rate on all small mouse toys - recently expanded to balled up socks
Excellent interpersonal skills with zero scratch or hiss incidents - even when I am very scared and with children
Often come when called
Ability to provide administrative support including sleeping in a box on my human’s desk while she works and being constantly available for pats during boring zoom calls
Outstanding cat skills - able to transition seamlessly between gently lounging with the big humans and crashing around like a crazy floofball when the small humans show me a piece of string
Proven ability to guard the house against all birds.
I do dislike very loud noises especially the vacuum cleaner but am very adaptable and each day I grow a little more tolerant of new sounds and experiences.
I have decided that I want to dedicate myself to my career and so recently made the decision to be desexed. I’m also up to date on all my worm and flea treatments and am fully vaccinated.
If you would like to meet me to discuss my suitability for a role in your household, I recommend you initially visit me in my current work environment in Rochedale 4123 so we can see if we would be a good fit for each other.
Yours faithfully,
Lulu
