About Bentley
Bentley is a senior boy who at 9 years of age is in need of some new accommodation in which to relax and enjoy this quieter time in his life.
If you have been staring at the couch or a vacant spot on the bed, sitting outside on the deck drinking coffee with a spare biscuit and wondering what you could possibly do to relieve yourself of these issues then Bentley may be just the solution to all your problems.
This Australian cattle dog/Labrador X is by no means yet ready for retirement, he is still an active spritely fellow looking for new friends to hang out with.
With his wise eyes, noble look and calm personality this by is suited to most styles of living and family dynamics. He is a very good natured boy who surely has some stories to tell. He apparently does not tolerate cats well but gets along with everyone else he meets.
Bentley is a gentle old man, but just like with any older person the occasional niggle raises it head from time to time. He does have some skin warts and of course the grey muzzle of any older distinguished gentleman. BARC staff are more than happy to discuss with any potential new owners his ongoing needs.
If you think that you may be just the person to take on Bentley Warts and all then feel free to contact the Bendigo Animal Relief Centre on 5441-2209.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
