About Kitchi & Cody
Meet Kitchi and Cody, beautiful horse and pony bonded gelding duo!
Chestnut Kitchi is part Quarter Horse, part Clydesdale, and stands about 15hh high. He is approx 11 years old. Kitchi is a great project for a person who is experienced around horses. He came to us having received minimal human contact and being left to his own devices for a long time. He will need daily human handling in order for him to learn to trust people again and be educated. He will come close to you - especially if you have carrots and sometimes will eat out of your hand. However he requires sedation for his close contact medical care and for having his feet trimmed. His forever home would need to have a round yard for interacting with him. With patience and persistence, we expect this lovely boy to come out of his shell and learn that people can be trusted.
Cody the Shetland pony is a social and interactive boy who absolutely loves his carrots and a good ol pat! Cody is around six years old. He is more trusting of humans than his paddock mate Kitchi. With some training and guidance we expect that Cody could become a nice rideable pony for some lucky child.
As mentioned above, these two, although different in personality, are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together.
If you're a patient person with lots of horse experience, we'd love to hear from you.
Medical notes
Kitchi and Cody are in good health.
