About champ
How happy is this fellow.
when he was in the pound the staff were a bit concerned as he was quite reactive to other dogs through the fence, but we put that down to the pound environment as since he has been in care he has been great with all the dogs he has met
He can still be reactive on the other side of a fence or door but i think he feels tough with a door in the middle.
He can be a bit in other dogs faces but will listen if told not to. He will roll over on his back if he gets growled at by other dogs.
He hasnt been around cats.
Champ loves puppy play and toys etc, loves his walks, and is quite good on the lead, he is also good in the car but doesnt like being left by himself for too long in the car.
He will crate and doesnt have accidents in the crate but he doesnt really like being crated.
Champ is a very loveable character and is also great off lead. He is on acres in care at the moment and doesn't wander off.. If he cant be seen ,he comes when called, He doesn't jump fences and hasn't been seen to dig holes. He is very much a people , inside dog but must be kept social
I would like to see Champ go to a home where there is someone home the majority of the time, preferably with another dog or have play dates regularly, and where he will get some ongoing training.

Every email is read but it is hard to reply to so many sometimes so if the home is not appropriate, then your email wont be responded to sorry. There is not always the opportunity for the volunteers to answer the phone so would prefer emails.
