About Rafa
Hi guys, I’m Rafa - a playful young kitten growing into a suave, sleek young man. Like any teenage boy I have plenty of energy to burn off so when I’m not wrestling with my siblings I love exploring the house (you can tell if I’ve been somewhere I shouldn’t because I’ll emerge all dusty!), chasing after my toys and attacking my scratching post. I think I’d be happy in a forever home with children because I don’t mind a bit of boisterous play and I’m ok being picked up. I do have a soft side though and I’m always keen to get cosy in your lap. I also have the loudest purr you’ve ever heard, so you’ll know when I’m happy! Some people think black cats are bad luck but my foster parents agree that my forever family will be very lucky indeed to have me.

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
