About Rosie
What happens when a working dog won't work?
Say hello to ROSIE, born 16 August 2016.
Originally a working dog, Rosie decided one day, to the dismay of her owner, that farm work wasn't for her and she just stopped working.
As a non-working working dog, she found her way to ARK and we're now looking for a safe and loving forever home where she can just be herself - a pet.
Rosie is a very special soul. She is quiet and shy, so needs just the right friend or family to take her in and love her. She’ll take a little time to settle in to her new home.
Rosie prefers the company of women and is very wary of men. She would be best suited to a quiet home, ideally with a retired or semi-retired woman and another friendly dog of similar size. Rosie is very definitely an inside dog and enjoys cuddling up in the evenings to watch television. Her exercise needs are minimal. She has shown no aggressive tendencies and is a sweet-natured girl, who’ll give affection to her special human.
Rosie is not cat-friendly.
If you are interested in meeting Rosie, please complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and someone will be in touch.
Her adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
