About Lucy Clarke
Lucy’s had a tough start to life, she’s spent the majority of her life as research subject, but all that’s behind her now and she is looking for a final place to live out her days peacefully and loved.
Lucy is nearly 12 and is part of our Hibby Foundation where we continue to financially provide for her medical needs once she in a forever foster home.
Lucy is looking for a very specific home, she needs secure fencing, 6ft at least. She must be permitted indoors and must sleep indoors. She’s looking for a home where she is the only dog so she can be spoilt without worrying about sharing. No cats or pocket pets. No children under 15 as Lucy is strong and very stubborn! Even tho she is a senior, she’s got a lot of life in her and is strong. She likes gentle walks but all she wants is to longe around with her humans and enjoy her retirement, and we think she deserves to.
Lucy needs a hound or large breed experienced family and someone who is familiar with dog body language and behaviour. Lucy must be kept on lead at all times when away from her home and her family must be able to bring her to our vet in Caulfield South for her check ups and so we can continue to financially care for her medical needs.
