About Jonathon (bonded with Victoria)
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 and travel being restricted, I can only be adopted in NSW or ACT.
Jonathon is a four year old German Shepherd that is looking for a new home with his sister Victoria. His owner rescues Kangaroos and is finding it hard to give them the time they need.
This active dog is seeking a caring home who will continue with his lead and basic obedience training, and give him plenty of exercise.
Jonathon has a lot of energy and would suit a family that has recent experience with German Shepherds.
Due to Jonathon's size we recommend a home with older dog savvy children, and can go to a home with cats or other large breed dogs.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd and are looking for a companion dog then consider Jonathon and Victoria.

Medical notes
Jonathon is microchipped and desexed, vaccinated and heart worm tested.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
