Say hello to Sargie’s Saviour!
His ideal home will have another dog in it to keep him company, access to a large space to play ball and fetch in. Family, age and workers are not a factor as he is honestly so sweet, gentle and chilled! He is highly motivated by food and always want to please so training should bring results fairly quickly and will keep his smart mind active. He enjoys kongs and other treat related toys. He prefers a carpeted home, though he is now ok walking around on the laminate floors, he was very nervous about it to begin with and will never walk too quickly whilst in the house.
He is house trained and will take himself out if the door is left open for him. He is starting to learn that he doesn’t need to INHALE his food any more, but he loves mealtimes. He now walks nicely on lead; the world is so exciting (and a little bit scary) to explore and he makes a great jogging buddy! Definitely trots to your pace and as a bonus he does not even look at birds let alone chase them. Sargie's Saviour greets other dogs with a madly wagging tail and he is brilliant with kids, he has been in care with an 8yo and a very short 6yo. He has not met any cats.
His personality is a gentle giant. He bonds quickly to the master of the food bag and leans his head against your thighs when walking together. He likes to have a pillow and when he settles in to bed at night, he wants his blanket draped over him before he lies down. He loves to be brushed and simply just wants to be near you.
