About Ross
Ross is a happy go lucky boy who enjoys spending time with you or sun baking.
***Before continuing to read Ross’ about me, please read through his medical notes below. ***
Ross is a typical puppy, he likes toys, running around and napping. Ross has been well socialised with his foster canine and feline friends.
Ross is good with other dogs and cats, and would like a home with a female canine companion, but this is not essential.
Ross will need to continue with his socialisation, especially during COVID-19 restrictions. As this is his prime socialising time, therefore he must go to a home who is dedicated to puppy school and further socialising.
Ross will mature a large dog and we expect 35kg. Both breed mixes are known to be intelligent but stubborn. Artic or bull breed experience is preferred but not essential. This particular mix would not suit a first time dog owner.
Ross is located in whittlesea for meet and greets
Medical notes
Ross has no known medical conditions
Ross has not yet been desexed as he has undescended testicles. This basically means his testiclse have not "dropped" into his scrotum. Our vet has suggested waiting to he has matured a little in hope they will descend. If this does not happen, he will still be desexed but our vet may have to go looking for him which would mean an abdominal surgery that is straight forward but recommended to wait until he is a little older. Therefore Ross will need to be returned to us to be desexed (this is not negotiable, it will be done only by our vets). His adoption fee is to be paid in full at the time of adoption and his desexing will be covered by us at our vet at a later date. His desexed will be done before his microchip will be transferred to his new families name.
Ross has been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
Adoption details
Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet.
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you. Meet and greets are on weekends only, unless prior arrangement has been made. Please note your meet and greet will be organised the first weekend available from an approved application, we try our best to accomodate but again we can not hold animals.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
