About Diesel
Hello, my name is Diesel and I am a 5 year old Labrador X Husky who is currently at BARC and looking for a new home.
I'm sure if they ever write my biography it would be a best seller as I look like a dog that has certainly lived a life full of adventure, romance, suspense, heartbreak and laughter...
The staff at BARC are aware that I recently lost my 4 legged life companion and understandably did not cope with this very well taking it out on the garden and lawn, my fluffy toys and bedding but the lovely people here at the shelter have helped me with this and introduced me to lots of new doggy friends and I am seeing that I still have a lot to offer life.
I would love to go to a home with another dog who is well mannered, calm and would also like a playmate to spend their days with.... I would be great in a home with older kids who I wont knock over with my portly body and would love to be kept busy doing lots of activities like lake walks, day trips and lots of family BBQ's and gatherings.
I am looking for someone to take me on and give me another go at life, someone willing to show understanding and patience and give me the love and devotion I am craving.
If you would like to meet me please call the lovely people at BARC and arrange a time for an appointment 5441-2209
Available for viewing and adoption 30/05/2020

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
