About Brax
Brax is an adorable 6 and 1/2 year old male staffy who has found his way to BARC through no fault of his own and is now looking for a new home... and he made sure to tell me he isnt looking for one of the old dog retirement type homes where they tuck you up on the couch in front of the TV all day and feed you pre-chewed Schmacko's..
This boy wants a home full of noise and mess and loud children whom are of an age (6+) that they can play with a rough and tumble dog like Brax. Although he would welcome offers of a home less noisy, messy home and without the children..
Brax has been the man of the house and whilst he likes other dogs he is probably best suited to a home on his own where he can play by his own rules.
This boy is one out of the box, if you are looking for a fun loving easy go lucky staffy then Brax may be just the dog for you..

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
