Hi there. I’m Deus. I’m a 9-month-old kelpie cross boy.
I’m a sweet & happy boy and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit an active family that will include me in their everyday lives. I’m a very social boy and just love playing with other dogs big or small. My perfect home will have another dog to keep me company. I’m good with kids but as I’m a solid boy I’d be best with kids over 12-years of age.
I’m a strong 24 kg boy and will need a confident owner who is willing to continue my training.
Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever boy & learn quickly. I’m know my name & to sit & wait for my food. We have been working on the 'leave it' command & my lead training is going well. I go on bush walks with my foster family and foster siblings and don’t stray far from mum. My recall training is ongoing and I come back most of the time.
I currently sleep outside in a lovely warm kennel with my foster brothers. I’m a good boy and sleep quietly through the night. I enjoy coming inside and spending time being part of the family. I’m not a barker and leave the resident cats alone. I’m not good with chickens or pocket pets.
I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
Deus. ❤
