About Skylar ~ lovely Bull Arab x puppy (On Trial 7/6/20
Skylar is a beautiful 9 week old Bull Arab x puppy looking for her forever home. She has only been with DRN a short time, but in this time she has shown that she is a happy, healthy girl, who loves affection and attention. She is very playful and loves a good wrestle with her brother and sister who are currently fostered with her.
Skylar is a sassy girl who is not afraid to go out and play with her much bigger foster siblings. Although she is small, she is confident around those that are bigger than her. She is super cuddly, and is often found on the lounge sleeping snuggled up to her foster parents and their children. She would be a wonderful family dog.
Skylar will grow to be a medium dog and will benefit greatly from training. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Skylar needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You will need good fencing 5-6 ft high with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire) is not suitable.
As Skylar is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 6 months old.
Skylar's siblings: Daisy and Jed are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Skylar, please contact Sarah at sarahsrescues@gmail.com . Skylar is in the Lake Macquarie area, NSW (south of Newcastle). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Skylar's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
