🐝🍯 INTRODUCING ASALI 🍯🐝
Hi there, my name is Asali (which means Honey in Swahili) and I am a pretty little tabby girl. I am the first foster cat that my foster carer has had the pleasure of taking on. Initially I hid from her for a week as far back under the couch as I could get. I even dug my way into the inside of the couch to hide even more. You wouldn't believe I am the same cat, after taking some time to get comfortable, I became super friendly and began to follow her around looking for pats. It turns out I am a loving kitty, just hiding inside a shy cat!
I like pats and will even come to you to get them. You'll know that I am finally getting used to you when I start to purr very loudly as you pat me. I also like to relax next to my human friends and watch TV. I don't really like to be picked up very much yet and will try my best to get out of your grip. I love food, especially creamy treats and I am not too picky and will eat most things. I'm active in the morning after my first meal and later in the evening just when my foster mum is getting ready for bed. I however will leave you alone and keep myself occupied (my foster mum says I am sometimes a bit noisy at night) when you go off to bed.
I have only lived on my own with my foster mum and I like a quieter environment so I would probably be better suited to a smaller family. I'm very playful and I love to chase around a mouse at the end of a teaser toy to fulfill my need to hunt. I haven't lived with other cats however, with a slow introduction, I would most likely enjoy having an active playmate to keep me company. An attentive human that can play with me would be suitable as well, as long as they dedicate a little bit of time each day to play with me. I haven't met any dogs or kids but I'd probably get used to them as long as they are gentle, since I am still young and adaptable.
