About Peanut
PLEASE READ HIS PROFILE before applying
Secured yard is a must for him.
Peanut will require someone who has the time and patience to teach him to walk well on a lead and not to bark at everything he sees or hears. Suffers Big dog in Little body syndrome. He is a dog that is social with dogs his size but not so much with bigger dogs, he will run at them barking. He has improved with my dogs, however more training is needed. Lead walks only for this man with attitude until he is settled, weather permitting.
Peanut does tend to get anxious when left alone and will bark, that is why we feel he would be better suited with a dog more his size for company.
Love-able side to Peanut, he does like a cuddle and will follow you around. Has a lot of energy so his walks will be more than just around the block. He is a good guard dog, he will let you know if there is someone there. He will require a home where there is someone around most of the time,
Peanut is an indoor dog who would like to sleep either in your room or close by. He is crate trained, toilet trained and knows how to use a dog door.
A bit of training and lots of love will turn him into a lovey dog.
Adoption details
Should we contact you, we will ask some questions to find out if this dog is suitable for your home. If we feel that they could we would then set a time to do a meeting at your home. At this point we will also do a property check to make sure it is safe and secure.
Should this go well you will be asked to fill out the adoption paper work. There is a two week settling in period before we will process the paper work.
