About Billy ~ sweet 10mo Staffy x pup (On Trial 13/6/20)
Hey my name is Billy and I am a 10 month old Staffy puppy. I love to cuddle and spend time inside my house with my foster family and am now looking for a family of my own.
I’ve had a hard start to life so have a few requirements for my forever home to ensure we will match each other.
Firstly, I prefer a home without another doggy friend as I require a lot of my owner’s attention and prefer my humans to other dogs. I need someone who is experienced with dogs and with a willingness to continue my training, in particular socialisation with other dogs. I just become over excited in situations, in particular on walks with other dogs and become very vocal, by crying and barking. I am also quite an anxious puppy when I am out so like to be close to you.
I am a very active puppy, who loves walks and adventures however I’m still learning rules like not pulling on my lead so I would appreciate a walking harness to help with this. Since living with my foster family I have learnt to be house trained and can also perform basic commands such as sit and lie down. I am very food orientated so will always try my best to receive a treat. This makes training easy and I am eager to learn.
I need to go to an incredibly loving home as I am a loyal young pup with so much love to give. I would appreciate a secure yard, with 5-6ft fencing, and plenty of opportunity to explore. I can’t help myself, I do get excited so would best be suited to a family with no young children. Someone home a fair bit is a bonus as well.
If you would like to meet me, please email Sharron who is taking all enquires for me: sstudley3@bigpond.com and you can submit an adoption questionnaire at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
My adoption fee is $450 and I am desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. I am currently in care in the Newcastle area, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
