Mr Personality! This cheeky boi will have you laughing constantly with his cheekiness, his playful kitten-like mannerisms and his back-chat.
Being part Husky, you know you are in for a wild ride with this boi. Cobber will regularly try to push the boundaries, but he does respond well to a strongly-voiced reprimand and his little apology dance will melt your heart many times over. You will need to be a firm trainer, and experience with Husky behaviours would be highly beneficial, while not essential. In return you will get the most hilarious, cheeky boi, bursting at the seems with personality, always craving a rough play or a cuddle and amazing you with his spontaneous dance moves. And his giant pair of high-standing ears will put any Frenchie to shame!
Cobber walks extremely well using a Halti and control collar. If you are a bit stronger or have someone in the family who is, Cobber also shows promise to be trained to walk well without these aids. He has the intelligence to learn any number of tricks with some training and teats. Cobber is crate-trained and is the bestest boi at going into his crate when asked. He has no trouble sleeping in his crate or staying in there for extended periods.
Cobber is not suitable for dog parks or the beach, as he becomes stressed around other dogs outside the home. If you are prepared to work with a trainer this is something he may be able to overcome, but it will be a long road. He is not as bad when passing single dogs on a walk if you keep your distance, but around groups of dogs he becomes quite overwhelmed. However, Cobber has had no troubles whatsoever living with two fur foster brothers. He loves a good rough wrestle and would love the company of another active dog close to his size. He would also make a perfect only dog, and has been found to be notably more chilled out during his times as the sole dog. Cobber would not be suitable for a home with cats or pocket pets. You will need 5-6 foot fences to keep this boy from jumping the fence and chasing you down the street when you leave him – he just loves his humans so much!
Cobber is a unique looking, playful, cheeky and active ball of love and laughs who will breathe life into any situation he finds himself in. Book in a meet and greet with this special boi today and come experience what he has to offer.
