About Hazel ~ 12mo Red Cattledog x (On Trial 31/5/20)
Meet Hazel, a 12 month old Red Cattle Dog X who is a big, goofy, happy girl with a lot of love to give.
Since coming into care, she has learnt some basic commands, like how to sit, stay and shake. She is young and full of energy, so she does sometimes jump up to greet you, but with training she is improving. She knows her name and usually comes when she is called. Her usual day consists of tagging along with her foster family helping with the farm chores, so she is always off lead at home and is happy to stick around.
Hazel is a no fuss, easy going kind of girl. She is house-trained, and she doesn’t mind if she sleeps outside or inside. She loves to be a part of whatever you are doing, whether it be working in the garden or sleeping in the sun. She also loves to go for a big run and play with the other dog to find lots of things to explore and smell.
Hazel has previously come from a family with lots of young children so she is good with them, however due to her size she could hurt young children if she jumps up on them. She is currently living with another active dog and they spend all day running and playing together. She has also been around horses and chickens and she is good with them too.
Hazel would love to find a home where there is plenty for her to do every day and plenty of room for her to run and explore. She needs a family who is prepared to meet her daily exercise needs, and who will give her as much love as she has to give them. She would also love another friendly and playful dog to live with.
Hazel will need a secure yard with 6ft+ fencing as she is quite athletic and sails over anything less.
Hazel is currently in care in the Newcastle area, NSW. For more information, email Alyssa at alyssadryden97@yahoo.com.au or you can fill out the adoption form online at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Hazel’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea, worm and tick treatments.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
