You won’t believe your luck when you invite Scooby (male - 5yrs) and Shandie (female - 4yrs) into your home.
The best thing about adopting these two sweethearts is the hard work is already done.
Both well-mannered and a friendly bonded pair, these two came into Precious Paws through no fault of their own. Well loved, sadly their owner died after a long battle with cancer. The transition into foster care was swift as they related well to compassion and love. They’re both overweight and are on a strict diet, and along with regular exercise we plan to work towards getting them back to a healthy weight. Their new family would need to commit to continuing their diet and provide them with daily walks.
Our foster carers say they're the best-behaved fosters they've ever had. They don't chew, or dig, or bark much, except when it’s required, like when someone’s at the door. They are good at sharing food and toys.
Scooby and Shandie play nice when they meet other dogs on walks. They walk nicely on the on lead and recognise verbal and hand signals to sit, stay, walk etc.
Everyone who meets Scooby and Shandie falls in love. They’re a chipper pair. Scooby likes to play tug-of-war, while Shandie is a little more subdued and who loves a big cuddle.
They’ve been introduced to toddlers, and the pair are very gentle and patient.
They'd love a quiet home and loving owners to share their twilight years with. They must be adopted together.
Are you their one(s)?
Medical notes
Scooby and Shandie are a bit on the chubby side at the moment. Their new family would need to commit to continuing their diet and provide them with daily walks.
