About Emerald @ Petstock Rouse Hill
Meet the sparkling Emerald! Emmi, as she's called by her carer, came into care with 4 beautiful babies who have now all gone to their furever homes. Emmi was an excellent mum, very relaxed and sweet, spending all her day nursing and cleaning her kittens whilst they learnt to run and jump and to trust humans. After some time to relax and just enjoy having no responsibilities, it is now time for her to find her very own special family.
When she first came into care, Emmi was rather scared and shy, but she has happily come out of her shell as she has learned that people are good. Now an affectionate young girl, she loves a good pat and a scratch, and likes to keep warm in the sun or snuggled in a blanket or perhaps survey the world from the top of her 2 metre cat tree. But, what she most enjoys is to play, especially with her teaser toys and laser toy; in fact, she can go quite crazy during play and definitely needs playtime daily. Gentle Emmi is, however, always mindful of her claws.
Emerald is otherwise pretty quiet, and is content living alongside other cats, kittens, dogs - both large and small – and a bunny as well as her humans. You might say she is one adaptable pussy cat! She also travels well. So, Emmi will make an excellent companion provided her new family give her time and space to settle in – and to play with her of course. She is sure to love a love a warm lap or furry friend to curl up with during these winter months. She must be an indoor-only cat.
Emerald is vet-checked, microchipped, vaccinated and flea/worm treated, and is now desexed.....all ready for her new home.
She is currently in the PETstock adoption enclosure at Rouse Hill and can be visited during store hours.
