About Kasarna
Kasarna is a sweet and cuddly girl who is very affectionate with her foster carer. She makes you laugh with the cute games that she plays and you have never seen a happier dog when you give her pats. Kasarna loves to play with chew toys and enjoys a stuffed kong.
This smart girl is coming along with her training well even though she came to us with little to no basics. She quickly learnt to sit and walk well on a lead. Her recall off lead is close to perfect and she will come when called even with distractions around. Kasarna is toilet trained and is learning about crate training where she is now happy to take herself off to for a nap. Her new family must have some experience with training dogs as she will require some ongoing obedience training. You will need to be prepared with the time and finances to engage a trainer to assist you if there are any issues that arise in the absence of group training classes at this time.
While in care, Kasarna has met a range of dogs. She loves and enjoys playing with the resident dog in her foster home – they play and nap together which is really sweet. Kasarna does not seem to have been socialised with new dogs previously so she is learning how to do this while in care. She is playful with other puppies/young dogs and can be timid at first with adults but quickly becomes friends with females. Large adult male dogs seem to make her more nervous. It is important that her socialisation is continued in a controlled environment with positive interactions with appropriate dogs. Kasarna is a medium energy dog who will require a daily walk either on lead or in an off-lead area that is not over-populated with other dogs.
We are looking for an experienced home where Kasarna will be a part of the family and where someone is home most of the time. Ideally, the home will be a relatively quiet, relaxed environment, with no anxiety or busyness.
She MUST have another easy going, playful dog in the home as she does not do well left home alone without another dog and this will ideally be another friendly and confident female dog of a similar size (medium to large). Kasarna should be allowed to be inside with the family and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. She has been cat tested and showed no aggression but was a bit over excited so would require guidance and training to live with cats. Having met kids at the park she is fine with them, but we recommend slightly older kids due to her need for further training. Whoever adopts this lovely girl will be repaid ten-fold in love and affection.
If you are interested in giving this beautiful girl her forever home then please fill in a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
