About Miley **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Miley Moo has a strong and independent nature but is also a smoochy boy that likes a bit of lap and sleeping on the end of the bed.
He is as playful as any kitten and will play with toys and you for ages if you make the time to spend with him. He would be ideal to a single or couple that would like some affection and feline company, having said that, he would also love the company of older children that would play with him every day. He will love you for the rest of his life if you let him.
With toileting, there are no accidents and he's extremely clean, no mess with using his litter tray. He takes great pride in grooming himself so his fur is immaculate and he likes a gentle brush from his human on his back to get the excess fur out.
He went into care originally a few months ago when his owner went into dementia care and a family member took him on but due to their resident cat not accepting him, they were forced to seek alternative homing. His current foster home also has a resident cat that is not accepting him. Whilst there have been some successful moments, overall it doesn't go well, so we think he will be happier as an only cat in the household.
We understand from his past family that he is not keen on dogs so we think he is best suited as an only pet with a single person, a couple or family with older children where he can be the one and only Number 1 fur baby.
He can gently nip if he doesn't get his own way or is annoyed so young children would not be suitable.
Indoors with an outdoor enclosure is his ideal set up as he does well with lots of fresh air and stimulation.
He is the most beautiful boy and dearly loved by his foster mum so only the best home will be chosen for him. He would be staying where he is, if there wasn't another cat in the household. We have persisted for the past 2 months and it's not looking like it will work out with other feline company unfortunately.

Due to social distancing requirements and restrictions to people visiting households, we would request that only one member of the adoption party is permitted to visit during a meet and greet. Measures including hand sanitisers will be utilised before paperwork is signed to encourage infection control and session times will be set to a maximum of half an hour, thus ensuring your safety and the fosterer’s safety. Full payment in cash may be made at the property and will be handled by the foster carer with gloves and sanitised appropriately.
Medical notes
Miley is fully vaccinated and has tested negative for FIV. He is very healthy with no dental or medical issues on a recent vet visit. We have had him on some anti anxiety medication to help him settle into care but he's not likely to need that long term once settled into his forever home.
