About Pippin
Based in Horsham - Rural Area Post Code 3400 - look it up please before you apply for this girl.
Our gorgeous girl Pippin is now ready to try and find her home and people. This girl just wants to be loved and will bond strongly with her humans.
Pippin is a very athletic Whippet x Border Collie who can clear a 6 foot fence at a standing start. Pippin only wants to clear the fences if she is not with her people so she will need a home that has fence extensions/overhangs or a secure place (with a roof) to keep her safe when she can not be with her humans.
Pippin is crate trained and is very happy sleeping in a crate at night. We have found the crate very settling for this girl.
Pippin has come a long way in the short time she has been in our care. She happily cohabitates and plays with small dogs. She can get excited when seeing other big dogs so needs some further socialisation in this area. She is learning to walk on a lead and loves to go for her walks to explore. Pippin is in foster care with indoor cats that are well socialised with cats. If cats run then Pippin would chase. Not suitable to be rehoused with pocket pets.
When out walking Pippin pricks up her ears and gets animated if she hears children and she was found interacting with children at a school prior to coming into our care. We believe she would love to be around school age children.
Pippin's date of birth is 19 April 2019 - we have been provided this from a reliable source.
Pippin's adoption fee is $600 and she will go to her new home vaccinated, flea and worm treated, microchipped and desexed.
To find out more please contact Carolyn on 0427 221 231 to discuss this girl and find out if your a match.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
