About Locki
*In foster care in Zetland, Sydney*
Locki is the perfect little lady! She wants nothing more than to be in your company, and has lots of love to give her new person, couple or family.
This beautiful senior plays with the energy of a dog half her age, and really enjoys her daily walks around the neighbourhood. She still gets a kick out of her toys too! In fact, she has an amazingly youthful spirit that you'll also observe in her healthy appetite, happy-go-lucky demeanour and charming head-tilt when she's hoping for a cuddle :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Locki is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Hanging out with my special humans is my favourite thing in the world, so I will be best suited to a family that can spend most of their time with me - a retiree, stay-at-home parent or someone who works from home will be my perfect match! I don't need much outdoor space, as I definitely prefer couch time to garden time!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Pretty high for a dog my age! I'll need to be walked every day - ideally in the morning and the evening.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids since moving into my foster home so it's hard to say. I don't really notice the children that I pass on my walks.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I do tend to move away slightly from any big dogs who might be approaching, but I haven't interacted properly with any dogs or cats since coming into foster care. Happy to give it a try and see how we go, though!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
