About Bonnie
Meet Bonnie - a playful and affectionate cat with a shy side.
Initially very nervous and reticent, Bonnie spent most of her first week or two under the bed or hidden in a cupboard. She still spends ""me"" time under the bed, but has become increasingly social, as her confidence and curiosity grows.
Over time, Bonnie has come to relax more, and now her inquisitive and happy nature has started to shine.
Bonnie will jump up to enjoy snuggles on the couch or cuddles in bed with her foster carers (sometimes gently attacking feet safely hidden under blankets). Initially wary, she now plays with her foster cat brother. Bonnie also likes taking time out to sit in the window and watch the world outside.
Bonnie still startles easily - any sudden movement or unexpected approach can scare her, but as she and her carers have become used to one another, this nervousness is reducing.
Bonnie is house trained and eats both wet and dry cat food.
She will make a dear companion to the right person or family who can offer her the patience and kind understanding to let her sweet nature blossom.
** Please note that due to the regional border restrictions currently in place in WA, we can only accept enquiries from people within the south west region at this time. If you would like to meet Bonnie, please complete the application form at https://safe.org.au/find-a-cat/animal/bnc602/**
