About Shorty
Hello! This is Shorty!
She is a very good girl, and loves playing just as much as she loves tummy rubs.
She is a bit braver then her sister, the first to investigate new things (like dams!) and acts much tougher than she is.
Shorty has been meeting older dogs and has very good manners. She doesn’t jump at their faces but has a blast running after them. We have been doing lots of training too. She is really good at coming when I’m called and even know how to sit for her dinner.
Shorty loves to run around with us, but is just as happy to lay in the grass and chew on a piece of wood or use those adorable eyes for a tummy rub!
She can’t wait to meet you!
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we may not respond to your enquiry if you do not complete the application form in full.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
***Please note - due to COVID19, Interstate adoptions have been suspended except for those between NSW and VIC, that do not cause extra unnecessary movement or socialisation of people. Meet & greets will not proceed as normal, and we have implemented protocols for hand over of dogs being adopted locally, to ensure the safety and protection of our adopters and our volunteers. We appreciate your understanding and working with us through this difficult time.
