About Pugsley
Pugsley is a gentle 7.5 year old pug with a lot of love to give! His previous owners where unable to keep him
Due to their work commitments but is settling in well with his foster family.
He previously lived as an outside dog but has adjusted amazingly to inside living and is house trained and follows basic commands. He’s coped well when left home alone for short periods and settles to bed at night with no issues.
Pugsley is currently very overweight at 11.5kg and has been set on a strict diet plan by his vet, aiming to loose about a third of his current weight. Unfortunately, his additional weight is making it hard for him to walk further then around the block and he’s needing a lot of encouragement to do this slowly, multiple times a day.
Pugsley wasn’t socialised much previously but has been very polite and friendly to other dogs we’ve met on our walks. We can’t yet comment on his reaction to cats or other animals.
His ideal new family will need a lot of commitment to continue to support his weight loss journey and to encourage him to exercise! Pugsley is a big softy and has so much love and affection to show anyone that will love him back.
Pugs are known hair malters so please do not apply if malting hair is an issue.
Not tested with cats
COVID 19 please understand we have to follow protocol with meets ups 1.5m distancing / bring your own pen for paperwork.
Please complete an online application form at www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au and the carer will contact you
Medical notes
New owner needs to commit to his weight management plan. He’s very overweight and needs to loose 1/3 of his body weight. Will need minimum at least 2 daily walks and ongoing commitment.
