About Jessie
Wow this girl can be a character and a half. Jessie is looking for her new lease on life. A new beginning.
We don’t know her past but she was extremely fearful when she first arrived into rescue life both of humans and of other dogs. Life in the training centre has taught her manners. Taught her how to love and how to interact with humans. How to be social. Jessie loves to work, therefore needs an active family who will give her a good run each morning and a nice stroll of an arvo but also some mental stimulation for her very active mind.
Jessie is loving but needs someone who can provide her with structure and let her know her place within the family. Jessie is extremely smart and sometimes gets so excited she will do other behaviours that she knows because you are taking too long. Jessie has the smarts and the looks and tries to use this to play you off, you know that big brown eye look!
Jessie knows the treadmill for walks especially days you can’t quite manage that morning run. Knows how to hold position on a mat for when you are busy cooking dinner or watching tv. Knows sit, drop, stay and recalls to you. Jessie also knows to go away, feet up on a step, goes around. Her walking skills are good. Jessie is best suited as an only dog or another dog who has good manners.
Jessie is ok with teenagers but needs to feel safe and secure. Are you that special person to come along and pull her out of the kennel life and into the cosiness your home. The home that you walk into each night and get a big sloppy kiss from Jessie before you unwind for the night.
Is Jessie for you. Why not contact us for more info or maybe a meet n greet.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we may not respond to your enquiry if you do not complete the application form in full.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
***Please note - due to COVID19, Interstate adoptions have been suspended except for those between NSW and VIC, that do not cause extra unnecessary movement or socialisation of people. Meet & greets will not proceed as normal, and we have implemented protocols for hand over of dogs being adopted locally, to ensure the safety and protection of our adopters and our volunteers. We appreciate your understanding and working with us through this difficult time.
