About Arlo *application pending*
Hi there, nice to meet you. My name is Arlo and I’m a stunning 2 year old red and tan female kelpie. I'm a typical active, intelligent and loyal kelpie girl.
I love spending time with my foster parents and going on adventures with them, pottering about with them on the farm whatever they are up to. I’m happy to just chill out at home and be part of whatever is going on.
I'm a quick learner and have been picking up my basic obedience training well.
I absolutely love training and having someone to challenge me everyday sounds great.
I need an experienced family who understands my needs including the mental and physical stimulation that I thrive for.
I've been around older children and done well with them even though I can get a bit excited!
I would be happy in an only dog home where I can spend a lot of time with my humans, or a home with another active dog I can play with, preferably a male dog/s as while I've been great with other dogs, I have been a bit bossy with one of the other females in my foster home.
If this sounds like you, please apply today at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/
Love and licks,
Arlo x
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we may not respond to your enquiry if you do not complete the application form in full.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
***Please note - due to COVID19, Interstate adoptions have been suspended except for those between NSW and VIC, that do not cause extra unnecessary movement or socialisation of people. Meet & greets will not proceed as normal, and we have implemented protocols for hand over of dogs being adopted locally, to ensure the safety and protection of our adopters and our volunteers. We appreciate your understanding and working with us through this difficult time.
