About Josie
Josie is a sweet and smart little girl who is looking for a new place to call home. Please note Josie is DEAF and will need someone who will not only support her as she grows but teach her what she needs to know in this world. She is still a puppy at around 8 months old and loves to chew on toys. She is great around other dogs and currently is fostered around 5 other dogs, she is also good around children and cats (she will try and herd them not harm them) Josie is good around live stock , good with fencing likes to be up so she can see things going on. Josie is an active girl and would suit a family with a younger dog so she could play. Loyal companion, likes to be with her person. Being deaf doesn’t stop Josie from living a full life, she knows hand commands and is excelling at what she’s learning. If you are able to provide Josie with a safe environment and help continue her training then please put in an application.

**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING AN ENQUIRY OR CALLING US!**
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BEFORE FILLING IN OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM**.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
