We’ve come to believe that Jackson may think dogs are cats just like him. He is quite bold and curious around dogs, always happy to have a friendly nose to nose sniff in the hope for some playtime.
Jackson is quite the character! He's a fairly chilled fella and very affectionate. He head bumps anything and everything... not just your leg but the wall, the furniture, anything really. He's a very enthusiastic head bumper! "Jump Bump" - this is what Jackson’s foster sister has affectionately nicknamed his little habit of rearing onto his back legs when he head bumps.
Since Jackson has found his voice he likes to call out for you when he wants your company. If he's laying down when you approach him he'll usually flop onto his back wanting you to tickle his chest or tummy.
We think Jackson may grow into a big cat. He is growing into his big head and big paws and is quite a big strong handsome cat. His easy going nature means he could go into any kind of home; family, retired, couple or single. We feel he would settle really well in a household who already has a dog.
Jackson is the best company you could ask for, and he has abundance of love to share with his new family and furry friends.
Jackson is house trained.
Thank you to Lyndsay of Paw Focus Photography for the fantastic photos of Jackson

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
