About Bubbles
Meet little Bubbles - the smallest of her litter, who makes up for her teeny stature with her big personality! Her HUGE V8 purr is actually the loudest of all her siblings!
Bubbles is a delightful cat once you get to know her, but is timid and needs someone experienced with timid cats and understanding. A home with other cats will be ideal. She LOVES the company of other cats, no so much dogs. She would be most suited to a home where her humans are home a lot, don't work full time, and no young children, older kids may work.
Arriving at SAFE Busselton as a very shy scared three week old orphaned kitten, Bubbles can still be startled by new loud sounds or new people, but is quickly becoming very brave and curious. She plays crazily at happy hour with her adult foster siblings, all three cats doing zoomies, leaps and bounds from lounge chair to cat scratching tower. Hilarious.
Bubbles is also quite happy to amuse herself with feathers or the sacrificial Christmas tree bauble, or by carrying her favourite toy mousie around in her mouth, tossing it around, hiding it under furniture, then making a game of trying to fetch it out from underneath. Bubbles likes to inspect new things like floral arrangements and loves supervising household chores like sweeping or changing the sheets.
Bubbles never meows if hungry, but will zig zag in front of you as you head to the kitchen then sit right in your path - HINT HINT! She is not scared of her foster Jack Russell brother and sister, but their barking when someone arrives will initially send her running for cover.
It took a little while for Bubbles to progress from sleeping under the couch or bed to feeling comfortable out in the open, but now she LOVES to sleep on the bed right through the night without being disturbed. She cant get enough pats and scratches (especially under the chin and around her ears) and once she develops that trust with you, she will sleep on your lap.
Most of the time Bubbles would rather play than eat, so her carers stay with her while she eats, to ensure she doesn't get distracted and wander off to follow them. Bubbles will always be a very petite girl, she is not vocal at all but does happily chirp away to herself while playing. She especially loves playing with ping pong balls or in her cat tunnel.
At this age, given time and your patience, Bubbles will adapt to almost any home but probably most suited to a furever family with quieter / older children who will understand her, rather than toddler aged bubs. She enjoys the company of other adult cats around her and copes with the two small dogs in her foster home.
Are you the one to give her Bubbles the loving company she needs?
