About Tank ~ Ridgeback x Mastiff puppy (On trial 13/3/20
Meet Tank, a ridgeback x mastiff, his dad was a Kelpie (to help explain his striking colours). Tank is a very playful puppy that is a little more chilled than his sister but loves cuddles, toys and sleeping behind doors.
Tank will grow to be a big solid dog, if his mumma is anything to go by (40kg @11months) . No wire fences as he will walk straight through them or under them. A nice secure yard is a must.
Tank would love an older doggy playmate to rumble with but also a family to snuggle with and cover in licks and kisses. His little heart will break if left lonely.
Older children or dog-savvy younger children are best as he is a big pup and may nip and jump in fun until trained. This can be scary to little children.
Tank will need a family committed to his training to help make him the best dog he can be. Socialisation is also very important. He is definitely a cute little guy but will grow so a dedicated family is a must!
As Tank is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Tank, please contact Kelly by email at adoptmefromkelly@hotmail.com or fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Tank's adoption fee is $550 and he is vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. Tank is in the Lake Macquarie area, NSW (south of Newcastle) and is not available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
