About Bruno
🆘 BRUNO NEEDS A NEW HOME 🆘
Someone who is located in/near Sydney and has experience with a blind dog, or keen to learn and has the right set-up at their home.
Bruno is a 4 year old American Bulldog. His sight is impaired due to previous eye infections being left untreated over a long period 😩
Bruno is social around other dogs, and could be fostered with another medium/large female dog. They would need to meet to see how they got along.
Bruno has a habit of putting things in his mouth as he seeks feedback about his environment. Bruno can't distinguish between dog toys and everyday household items until they are already in his mouth. Bruno also gets excited around people, and needs someone to put some time in to stop him jumping up.
Bruno will be better in a home where any kids are teenagers, and there is an adult home most of the time. His living space needs to be indoors + outdoors, in an area that is reasonably contained so that he doesn't put things into his mouth that he shouldn't. Best not to leave your best leather handbags and high heels lying around 🤣
Once we can settle BRUNO into a suitable foster home, we are really interested to see what we can do for his eyes and hopefully get some vision back.
Please contact us urgently if you can foster BRUNO https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
