About Butch
Don’t be fooled by this beautiful boof head's age or the few grey hairs on his muzzle. Nothing stops him from running around with a ball in his mouth or playing chasey with his foster brother in the backyard!
While he has the energy and enthusiasm for these bouts of play, his favourite spot is curled up on his doggy bed or snuggled alongside his foster Mum, soaking up all the pats and love.
Butch has proven himself to be the ultimate family dog, from gently licking his tiny human baby’s feet, to playing fetch in the yard with the bigger kids. He gets along well with other dogs, but is also happy to chill by himself and would be fine either with other doggy company or without.
He even waits patiently at home, guarding the fort until his foster parents come home from work. He is not much of a barker, unless there is a toy in sight for him to play with. He'll also do the occasional old man rumble to let you know he loves you. He has not been tested for a reaction around cats, however seems unfazed when the neighbour's cat walks along the fence.
Speaking of fences, as Butch is an older fellow a tall fence isn’t necessary. He’s just happy to waddle about the house and yard all day. This gentleman is awaiting his forever home, where he can live out his years as a part of your family, knowing he is loved.
