About Ziva ~ Koolie x Australian Terrier, 1yo, female
Ziva: 12 month old Koolie x Australian Terrier. With her very first birthday coming up on 10th February, Ziva would like nothing more than to celebrate it with her new family in her new home. She is looking for a home where she will be allowed inside to be a part of the family. She loves her people but would also love a doggy friend to play with and have for company.
Ziva can be a little nervous in new situations but is starting to get better and she travels well in the car. She is crate trained and will sleep in her crate all night and is getting more reliable with her toilet training as long as she’s given regular breaks outside.
However, Ziva can be a bit of an escape artist, so secure fencing is a must. Her previous owners have said she’s a digger, but won’t try to escape a yard where she has plenty of canine and/or human company
Ziva is a super sweet and funny little dog who loves to go for walks and is good on the lead. She has started some basic training and is getting better with her recall however her new owners will have to continue to work on that.
Being very food motivated and highly intelligent, Ziva is going to be quite easy to train. She knows her name and the word, ‘Come’ and is learning to sit. With her fairly smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Ziva is a low maintenance pup who will make a delightful companion to any family.
If you feel you can provide this deserving dog a loving, permanent home, please contact Madi on 0439800666or email dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Ziva is in care in Mudgee, NSW and is currently is looking for a permanent home.
Ziva is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill is to email or phone to request an Adoption Questionnaire:
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
