About Oscar
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
An absolutely beautiful Labrador X with boundless energy in those big paws, Oscar can't wait to find a loving home where long walks, active playtime and lots of hands-on affection are on the menu every day!
Very obedient and super loyal, Oscar can also be a bit over-protective around strangers and will be happiest in an environment where there aren't too many unfamiliar people coming and going. He adores children and the company of other big dogs :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Oscar is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will provide loads of attention, and a commitment to long daily walks and lots of outdoor time! The very best home for me will have a minimum of new faces (visitors, parties etc) as I can feel very shy and unsettled around people I don't know.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium to high. While I'll need at least one walk every day and preferably a nice run around the park too, I'm mostly quite happy to just lay down and relax, as long as my special humans are somewhere nearby.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kids are my favourite! I can't wait to make some new best friends in my forever home. I'll likely need supervision around any unfamiliar or visiting children though, as I can be very protective of my house and my people.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm great around other dogs! Smaller ones aren't really my bag, but I totally light up when I meet other dogs of my own size to play and wrestle with. I haven't met any cats since coming into foster care so I'm not so sure about them.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
