About Colt
Hello I’m Colt, pleased to meet you!
Do you love exploring? Bet we could have lots of adventures together, checking out new things. Then after a busy day, we could be couch buddies.
I would be a great companion for an active, on the go family (as long as you take me with you) as I enjoy being wherever my family is. Whether it is going for a run, exploring the local tracks and creeks or cuddling on the couch, imagine the fun!!
Everyone says I'm a gentle little boy, with lots and lots of energy, but really, I just love to have fun exploring every bit of my world.
My foster family say I am very smart - must be the working dog in me. I love learning new things, particularly if there is a food reward involved, so get ready to start teaching me new tricks. I will love making you proud.
I use the doggy dog when I need to go to the toilet (mostly, shhh) and I enjoy playing with my toys. I love to chase a ball and am getting pretty good at bringing it back. I also love a game of tug-of-war with my soft toys.
Foster mum says I’m an inside/outside dog, I enjoy being wherever the family is and sleep inside at night.
Making sure that I get daily exercise is pretty important, as is keeping my mind active by learning new things and playing games where I use my brain. I get along great with other dogs. I am used to medium and big dogs and am learning great social skills. I would prefer a home with another dog to keep me company when you aren’t home.
I can’t wait to have a family of my very own and give them all my love. Are you my humans?
Love Colt xx
