About Dipsy
Introducing Dipsy, about as close as you will come to the perfect pup!
At 4 1/2 months old, Dipsy isn't a tiny puppy - she's learning lots of skills in foster care and is getting good with her toilet training and basic commands so it will be easy for her new family to build on this and keep up her training.
But, she's young enough to adapt and fit into her new environment!
When she came into care, Dipsy was very underweight and pretty frightened but just a couple of weeks of TLC have seen her looking much healthier and her personality blossoming.
Her foster mum's summary of Dipsy is as follows:
"" she has the sweetest personality and very smart, took her all of 5 minutes to work out how to get on the bed, she sits for treats, definitely no food aggression she was just hungry, she can be abit timid until she's sure, loves the clam shell. She's starting to put a bit of weight on now, Jack can be abit rough with her which she's not a fan of but otherwise she's a sweetheart""
(Jack is her brother, who is a boisterous lad!)
Dipsy is going to grow into a large girl - we can't predict exactly but at a guess we expect she will reach 35-40kg at full size. So her new family needs to be prepared for a big goofball!
She is currently living with cats and is getting on fine with them. She would be happy to live with a friendly adult male dog, or could be your only pooch (so long as she gets lots of time!)
Dipsy will require at least a 45 minute walk each day. She is very dog social at the moment and we really want her to stay that way! We encourage her new family to take her to group training classes to increase your bond with her and keep building her doggy skills.
We want only the most perfect home for this girl - if you think you can offer her the home she craves, please apply today!
*Please note Dipsy's adoption fee is $500. She is microchipped and has had an initial vaccination. Her desexing is also included in the adoption fee and will be done at 6 months of age*
