About Marcus & Lola
Marcus and Lola had a really tough start to life.
They were found in a cat crate, laying out on the street in Newtown in the pelting hot sun with a cardboard sign saying "Free kittens" on it. When they were found, they were starving, dehydrated and almost unconscious. After receiving excellent treatment at the local vet, they came to us to spend some time in foster care and find their forever homes.
Lola is extremely outgoing and confident, all she wants to do is follow you around, smooch your face, climb onto your lap and cuddle up to you purring like a motor. She's very playful and she adores toys and scratch posts. She loves her foster carer's dog Kenny, as you can see from the photos the feeling mutual. Lola is a tiny little cat, with gorgeous tabby tortoiseshell colouring and a velvety soft short coat.
Marcus, her brother, is very shy at first, but once he knows you he is just the most amazing, cuddly and friendly-natured cat. He'll initially hide around new people and he needs time and patience to get to know you and trust you, but once he does, you'll just absolutely fall in love with him. Marcus will take about a month to adjust to his new home and family. He absolutely adores Kenny the dog and would also happily go to a home with a cat friendly doggo to play with. All this precious little guy needs is someone who is willing to give him the patience and love to let him come to you when he is ready. Marcus, a gorgeous tabby & white, has a beautiful silky short coat.

Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
