About Phantom
Meet Phantom! Phantom found his way to the RSPCA all the way back on the 8th of October. Phantom was dumped at the RSPCA gates overnight with a large facial injury that was causing him significant pain. After three months of foster care, medication, surgeries, and lots of TLC, Phantom was adopted, but found he did not get along with resident cat. We also found that his eye, though as much as we tried to save it, had to come out for his comfort.
As well as some ongoing vet care, Phantom's new family will need to know that he is deaf, so he will need a very particular home. Despite his turbulent past, Phantom is friends with one and all! He loves human attention, and is happy with the presence of other cats at the shelter, though would like to live as the only pet.
Phantom is looking for a family that will:
1. Keep him inside always. As he is deaf, he cannot hear cars, other animals, or people.
2. Give him plenty of time to settle in and bond to his new people.
3. Monitor his recovery journey. More information will be available to potential adopters, you need only ask!
Phantom would prefer to live with older, cat savvy people who understand that he has had a traumatic past. He may be able to live with sensible, cat savvy children, however they must meet one another before adoption. He will need heaps of TLC, and he has so much love to give to his new people.
If you think you have the purr-fect home for Phantom, please come in and say hello!
