About Pop
Beautiful Pop is a lovely boy. He's a very smart pup who is learning learning how to be part of a family very quickly. He's quickly learnt basic commands such as to sit, wait for his dinner etc, and toilet training is coming along well; will need continued reminders and routine in his permanent home so that he knows how he can get outside to toilet and lots of praise when he does. Currently happily sleeping indoors at night. A very active pup, Pop is dog social and loves to play with his doggy foster sister. We reckon he'd love a home with another playful dog for a friend. Being a working breed, Pop will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation as he gets older. Kelpies are not a breed you can leave with nothing to do in your backyard for hours. Continued socialisation with other dogs will also be of huge benefit. Pop hasn't yet had anything to do with other animals but was very interested in a kitten at the vets!
Pop is very people friendly and adores cuddles. Should be fine around kids. Currently a bit licky but does stop when asked. He'd love a home with someone around a fair amount for company and playtimes. He doesn't seem to bark much except when playing, and is great in the car.
A nice boy.
