About Rory
Rory and Jake are a bonded pair of best friends who are looking for a new home together. Rory is a Bichon Frise and Jake a French Bulldog. Both of these little mates are adjusting to being in a new home environment. Rory is the more timid of the two and can take a little while to warm to new faces. Once he is assured that people are his friends, he will come up for a pat and is an affectionate and energetic boy. Jake is more confident and is a friendly boy.
Both boys are house trained once they are used to their new surroundings, where the doors are etc. This may take a few days of routine and then they are fine. Rory loves his walks but Jake needs regular stops and not too much strenuous activity especially when hot, as French Bulldogs can struggle in heat. Both dogs would benefit from regular exercise in the cool of the evening or early morning, to keep them happy and healthy. Rory and Jake know basic commands and will sit nicely for treats or a pat reward.
Rory and Jake are great little dogs who are best suited to a home with adults and older kids only (over 12s should be ok). They are not overly sure of young children and can be anxious if they feel they are cornered or going to be over handled, so it's best they go to a home without little ones, where they will be within their comfort zone, and where they will enjoy the quieter life. A home where someone home at least part of the day would be ideal for these little fellows.
If you have space in your lives and home for 2 little munchkins looking for a gentle, loving home, then please drop us an enquiry form via our website. PLEASE SEE MEDICAL NOTES BELOW.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check with flea and worm treatment, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership) and sterilisation. The fee does not include heartworm treatment.
Rory has a Grade 1 heart murmur. This is the lowest grade of heart murmur and is not currently under any vet treatment. Heart murmurs do need monitoring at your dog's annual health check/vaccination as heart murmurs are usually progressive as the dog ages.
