About Charli
PLEASE EMAIL MAREE at keetamouse@grapevine.com.au WITH A RUN DOWN OF YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE AND WHAT YOU CAN OFFER CHARLI FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE, PLEASE DON'T RING AS I DON'T TAKE DOWN NOTES ON THE PHONE AND I CAN'T ALWAYS CHAT AS I AM DOING OTHER THINGS.
Charli is a baby only 12 months old and she is toilet trained and can use a dog door. She is an inside dog but loves to explore the garden.
She is free to come and go as she pleases. She has only been on a lead a few times as she has been too small for a harness. She loves her walks and loves to be on the leash but is jittery when cars go by.
Charli is very playful and loves to play fetch and understands to drop the ball if she wants to keep playing. She is very cuddly to the point of in your personal space LOL. She is a very affectionate little girl.
She is happy to say hello to strangers but can be set off by other dog’s barking. I think she thinks it’s a game if one is barking she barks but generally won't unless another dog takes the lead.
She is amazing with children but gets very excited when you come home and can jump at you with excitement. She is still a puppy though. She is obsessed with our cat and licks her all the time. She is gentle and playful with her.
She just wants to love everyone. She has a beautiful nature. She gets on well with other dogs. She will be best placed with someone who has another dog around her age and size as a bigger dog would scare her and she would be reluctant to play, also an older dog she could become frustrated and bored if he other dog was not a player. They need to grow old together so an older dog would not suit Charli's energy levels.
She is a jack in the box and can jump up to 1m but she has not been able to jump over our fences. I make her food but she is happy to eat anything. You have to watch she doesn't steal everyone else’s food LOL.
Being so young, she will fall in love with her new family as they will with her.
Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
