About Buddha
Sweet Buddha is a Mini Foxie x born on 1st April, 2019 who would love to find his forever home.
Buddha has a sweet personality, however he can be quite the nervous boy. Once he gets to know you he can be quite playful, but he does take a little while to learn that you are his friend.
Buddha was originally surrendered to the facility with 3 other family members and while with them he does have more confidence. When not with them, he does settle, but it will take him a little while to settle into new family life.
He gets along well with other dogs, however he can be a little dominant. While he would benefit from having another playmate to keep him company, his companion would need to be ok with his style of playing.
Buddha does not mind the company of cats and with a proper introduction could be rehomed with cats in residence. It would be best if Buddha was not rehomed with pocket pets as he has the potential to chase them.
Buddha shows no sign of food aggression or seperation anxiety, and although he does not seem to be bothered by loud noises, we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Buddha's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. Buddha is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Buddha, please drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 or email gosfordpound@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Buddha is looking forward to meeting you.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out our Expression of Interest Form here:
https://form.jotform.co/92231142675857
This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Alternatively, you are welcome to phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
