About Horrie
No cats,chicken, birds etc
Hi fwends!
my name is Horrie and I am looking for someone to adopt me!
I am looking furs a home who has a doggy to be my friend, (preferably a girl dog).
In my current foster home I am with a boy and a girl greyhound.. I don't mind being with the other boy, but I prefer to be with the girl cuz after all I am a ladies man! I get along well with my current foster sister as she just does her own thing and I think I would be better with a girly.
I’m a good inside, sleep all nites on my bed, and I will come to you when I am called.
I like to lean and cuddle into you, cuz I love affections from humans.
I was a good boy when there was fireworks the other night as I just stayed sleeping on my bed.
I am just a bit nervous when learning new things. But with another confident dog and someone with patience to teach me, I will be the best boy ever!
I love people and sitting on the sofa with you.
I have a crazy side too, and run around doing zoomies after I go potty, I’m funny that way.
I enjoy playing with toys, especially ones that squeak. I like to throw them in the air. I also like to have a run around outside with balls!
I would ideally like a family or person who works part time, or is home alot, retired, and who can help me adjust to life. I am learning so much and am eager to learn with you. I know I am a bit special, but I just know there is a home out there for me...could that be you?
I love being with humans and just lying around close to them. My current foster family have been so nice to me and teach me so many things. But I really want my own family to call home.
I love going for walks, so you will get lots of exercise. I like to go 2x per day, to sniff and stretch my legs.
In the car I will lay down until we get to where we’re going.
I’m a bit protective of my food when other dogs are around so you would have to find a spot for me to eat alone. I can take treats with no problems, but my bowl is my quiet time, and need to be fed by myself.
You can take my bowl,.. just not gunna share with other doggies please.
Oh and I also have the cutest overbite and need to eat from a round bottom bowl. I use it as a scooper!
If you think you might be the right forever home for me....let my friends at Pet Rescue and BTG know........then we can have a date!
How could you not love this face!
Love Horrie 🐾
Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
