About Tasmin / Samson
Hi there,
My name is Tasmin and I am a gorgeous 5 Year Old Grey boy with beautiful fur and bright moon like eyes.
My story about ending up in a foster home is a bit of a sad one. You see, I came to cat haven a few years ago and was adopted by an amazing owner who was willing to give me a great forever home where I was loved. Unfortunately, my owner recently passed away and I had to go back to cat haven! But that's okay, because the staff there got me into a lovely foster home that has showered me with love and affection.
I'm a little bit shy, and a little bit timid, but I love interacting with humans and love having a good chat when they walk in the room to see me!
I came to my foster parents home, as I said, rather shy and timid but I never hissed at anyone, even though I was surrounded by two big humans, three other cats and a big scary floofball the humans like to call a 'dog'.
Though I was hesitant at first with being around the other animals, I did grow accustomed to it. Since coming to my foster home, I've definitely improved in my timidity and shyness. Don't get me wrong I've always been kind and gentle but I'm still a little bit shy, do enjoy my own alone time and, like a lot of other kitty's, don't really like loud noises.
I mainly stick to myself, enjoy watching the outside world go past and have the odd cheeky snooze. At about 8pm I run to my room (the humans call it the office but it was the first room I was put into when I came to my foster home), and wait for my dinner.
I've been asked to outline a few of my likes and dislikes so please see below.
Likes - I enjoy bum scratches, ear scratches and pats. I also like having my alone time and enjoy staring outside the window and seeing who goes past. I love biscuits, cat treats and beef mince flavoured tinned food!
Dislikes - I don't like loud noises, or when the dog puts her face in mine and I really don't like feeling trapped, like in a corner.
With all that has been said in my profile, I believe I can live happily in a home with other cats as my foster parents have recently caught me and the others playing together.
If you can give a gorgeous boy like me a home, please contact Cat Haven so they can get you to come and meet me today!!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
