About Sasha
Chris and Sasha came from the same household and want to stay together. Sasha came from the pound at 10 years of age still lactating from having a recent litter. She is a gentle girl who came with her mate Chris. She is not used to walking on lead alone and is much more comfortable when her mate is around. Our dog trainer says: "Genuinely likes kids. Copes well with noise and takes treats gently Probably bit more comfortable with 8+yo kids but gentle with kids all ages. Chris is more child tolerant . He tends to focus on adults rather than kids." Walkers say: “Very hesitant to walk. Enjoyed sitting in the shade for pats and treats. Very nervous around other dogs. Seemed quite stressed until alone with us. Liked treats a lot when calm.” They are both very chilled quiet dogs who are happy hanging out together. She is very well mannered and loves belly rubs and sits and shakes for treats. Sasha weighs 34.5kg.

Good with Kids: Shown to be good with kids in the controlled environment of the Shelter.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
